Auto Unlock works when you're wearing your unlocked watch and are very close to your Mac. If necessary, move your watch a little closer.
How to automatically log in
This feature gives you instant access to your Mac when you're wearing your Apple Watch. Samsung 360 stitching software mac. Just wake up your Mac and you’re ready to go—without typing a password.
The first time you log in after you turn on, restart, or log out of your Mac, you must log in by entering your password manually. After that, Apple Watch logs in for you.
- Launch the Spotify app on your Mac — you can search for it using Spotlight (Command+Space) or find it by going to Finder Applications. Select Spotify from the menu at the top of the screen.
- Spotify opens by default when you start up macOS. Oddly enough, the standard Mac mechanism for right clicking the icon and unchecking 'Options Open at Login' doesn't work here. This guide will show you how to disable this functionality once and for all so that Spotify has to be opened manually on boot.
- Open Spotify then go to settings. Scroll down the drop-down items then select delete cache data. It will delete everything in the app and not the application. Restart your phone and open the Spotify app. For a PC first, close Spotify then create a backup of the cache folder Storage by renaming it.

I don’t know why this happens, but it has often enough that it’s worth writing down. Spotify will just shut down / crash spontaneously and then when trying to start it again, it briefly flashes as it opens and closes again. This seems to be more of a problem on Windows 8 though I see a lot of reports on desktop Macs as well (for which this solution won’t apply exactly, but the principle may remain the same).
The usual solution is to do a complete re-install, but I’ve found that just deleting the following hidden folders has worked to fix this for me each time:
Mac Spotify Opens At Login Password
C:UsersUSERNAMEAppDataRoamingSpotify
C:UsersUSERNAMEAppDataLocalSpotify
C:UsersUSERNAMEAppDataLocalSpotify
Spotify Mac Always Opens At Login
After deleting this, when you launch Spotify it will ask you to log in again. Your playlists etc. shouldn’t be harmed as they are stored on Spotify’s servers, but you will, I believe, lose any ‘stored’/downloaded music, but if that’s not an issue for you, give it a go (perhaps rename the folders if you are wary of deleting them). Good luck!
